Mixing {Fully Automated}
Edit and Mix audio tracks recorded with Studio 33, at another studio or at home down to stereo. Our mixes are fully automatedable which means we can create on the fly changes to your mix in every possible way and they will play back the same way every time. This is also when we add dynamics processing such as EQ, compressors, limiters, gates... and effects {timebased processing} such as reverb, chorus, delay, phasers, chorus... along the way as is desired. Creative stuff like reamping, pitch shift, reverse, radio or vinyl hiss, crackle and distortion is all used as well if its called upon. Don't be afraid to ask about something you heard and want on your project.
Studio Instruments
Its also good to note that the studio has many musical instruments and effects pedals in order to support your music or just for effects and they are free for your use in any recording or mix session. For a full list of our musical instruments go to our gear page
Mastering
Studio 33 Recording can Master your project no matter where it was recorded. Mastering is the process of preparing and transferring audio from a source containing the final mix {Protools in our case} to a data storage device like a CD or Flash Drive (the master); the source from which all copies will be produced. These are some of the things that can happen when we master your project.
- Arrange the separate songs or tracks as they will appear on the final product
- Edit minor flaws.
- Equalize audio between tracks.
- Dynamic compression or expansion.
- Adjust volumes.
- Adjust Stereo Width
- Peak limit the tracks.
